Blacklane, a global chauffeur service, and Clear, an identity verification program, have joined forces to offer travelers a premium “home-to-gate” experience. The new partnership aims to eliminate friction in airport travel by combining Blacklane’s luxury ground transportation with Clear Concierge’s expedited airport navigation.

The collaboration was unveiled at the 2026 South by Southwest conference, where Blacklane CEO Kasra Moshkani emphasized the evolving role of luxury in the age of artificial intelligence. According to Moshkani, the goal isn’t to replace human interaction but to enhance it through technology.

How It Works
Currently, Blacklane provides chauffeur services in cities around the world. With this partnership, a Blacklane chauffeur will pick up travelers and drive them to the airport, then hand off service to a Clear Concierge guide. This guide will ensure a smooth transition through security and escort passengers to their gate or lounge.
The new service is designed to streamline the entire airport process. By combining professional driving with expedited security access, both companies intend to set a new standard for VIP travel. The service is already being tested at airports in select cities, with wider rollouts expected later this year.
Limited Availability
The partnership will initially be available to select Blacklane guests and Clear+ members in April. Expansion to additional members is planned, but specific locations have not yet been announced. Eligible members will be notified when the service becomes available in their area.
This collaboration highlights a growing trend towards integrated travel services, where luxury brands partner with technology providers to enhance convenience and exclusivity.
